School Enrolment

When enrolling your child for the first time at James Erskine Public School, you are advised to come to the office and collect both an information pack and an enrolment form. If you are out of area for this school, you will also be required to fill in an Out of Area form.

Enrolling in Kindergarten

When your child is ready to start Kindergarten, you need to supply the following documents with their enrolment form:

*  A Birth Certificate (the original must be sighted)

*  Proof of your address e.g A current electrical bill

*  Immunisation Certificate

*  If sharing custody of the child, bring any current parenting court orders

Once your child has been accepted to enrol in Kindergarten, you will be notified about an Orientation Day. The Orientation Day will give you the opportunity to come to the school and learn all about the daily routines for Kindergarten and about information regarding school procedures. This is a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the school. Whilst you are learning more about the school, your child will be participating in structured classroom activities with the current Kindergarden staff.

Also at Orientation, you can purchase or order the school uniform.

The date for the 2009 Kindergarten Orientation Day is November 12th.
